About Us

Fostering Solutions foster placement services was launched in July 2018 with the goal of improving on existing foster care and adoption services in Washington state. We exist because we care about children and teens and understand the difficulties they face when confronted with the serious challenge of removal from their biological family. This traumatic experience is difficult to recover from and can have lifelong consequences. We created our foster care organization to help aspiring foster care volunteers like you navigate the foster care licensing process more smoothly and ease the transition for children in need of foster care through our exemplary service.

Streamlining the Foster Care Licensing and Adoption Process

We are a private, for-profit, faith-based foster placement organization serving Yakima, the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Richland, Pasco), Ellensburg, Selah, Prosser, Grandview, Granger, Wapato, Toppenish, and Sunnyside, as well as all other cities outside our geographical region. We are committed to fostering change, fostering growth, and fostering solutions one child at a time. By facilitating the licensure of nurturing foster care volunteers, we offer foster kids eligible for placement and adoption access to the highest level of licensed care.

Our professional staff has many years of experience in the foster care community, helping children and families make the transition to a more stable home environment. We know the ups and downs that foster parents encounter, from the foster care licensing process to the family commitment necessary to manage the challenges of fostering children who have experienced such a traumatic life upheaval. Our mission is to make the entire process more beneficial for everyone involved by assisting families and children in the foster care system with the ultimate goal of family reunification or permanent placement in mind.

Our case managers, case aides, licensors, and supporting staff work directly with foster families to provide essential collaborative behavioral management services for the foster children and teens in their care and rehabilitation services for youth in need.
